Lead Coach - Red Makos

Brian is a Brooklyn native who, while drawn to the water very early in life, did not discover the competitive side of swimming until being recruited for his high school's club team. Brian quickly flourished in the sport, and a few years later found himself swimming for Brooklyn College, where he was named Performer of the Year for the Bulldogs' 2010-2011 season. Brian was a leading force in developing Brooklyn's aquatics program, and as team captain helped lead the Bulldogs to a program best finish in the CUNYAC Athletic Conference during his senior year. Seeing children learn to love and respect the water, and the freedom it provides, is the most rewarding part of teaching for Brian, and he hopes to bring that same energy to another level with the Makos!
