The Manhattan Makos are the competitive program of Imagine School of Swimming, part of Imagine Swimming, Inc., New York, NY. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, and what happens to it. It covers this website only — not the separate parent portal or team app, which have their own terms.
We collect two things: what you type into the one form on this site, and anonymous measurement of how the site is used.

The form is for a parent or guardian to complete on a swimmer's behalf. Please don't have a child fill it in themselves.
We ask for a swimmer's age group, not a date of birth, and we don't ask for medical or allergy detail on this website. Coaches collect what they need for the pool deck at registration. If there is something we should know sooner, email makos@imagineswimming.com instead of writing it into the form.
This site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages parents actually read. It sets cookies in your browser for that purpose. We do not run advertising cookies on this site, and we do not build advertising audiences from it.
If you would rather not be counted, most browsers can block these cookies, and Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Loading and running this site involves a small number of third parties:

Each of these receives your IP address and basic browser information as a normal part of serving a request, and each operates under its own privacy policy.
Enquiries stay in our email and team records for as long as your swimmer is involved with the program, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Enquiries that don't lead to a tryout are cleared out periodically. Site measurement is kept in aggregate and is not linked back to an individual.
Email makos@imagineswimming.com at any time to ask what we hold about you or your swimmer, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll action deletion requests unless we're required to keep something for safety or accounting reasons, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
