TO ELITE

The Junior group is the step in between 12&U and our Senior training groups. We balance competitive swimming with the rest of life — emphasizing technique improvement and aerobic fitness while preparing athletes for Senior group advancement.

What You'll Need

REQUIREMENTS

Baseline Sets

  • 10×100 Freestyle (interval per coach)
  • 10×50 Kick
  • 5×100 IM

Qualifying Standards

  • At least 5 Silver Championship qualifying times
  • Knowledge of pace clock and intervals
  • Comfort with dryland and circle swimming

Practice Expectations

  • Minimum 4 practices weekly + 2 dryland sessions
  • Approximately one meet per month
  • Championship and travel competitions

Goals

  • Continue technical and aerobic development
  • Compete at championship and travel meets
  • Earn promotion to Senior Makos
