Senior Makos represents the top level of training available with the Makos. Athletes here aim to become Junior Olympic Champions and qualify for elite competitions including Eastern Zones, Metro Senior Championships, Sectionals, and Junior Nationals.

What You'll Need

REQUIREMENTS

Admission

  • By coach invitation only
  • Healthy and injury-free
  • Able to train in all four competitive strokes

Senior 2 Standards

  • Demonstrated training base
  • Consistently high prior attendance
  • Coach invitation required

Practice Expectations

  • Minimum 4 practices weekly + 2 dryland sessions
  • Approximately one meet per month
  • Metro Champs, travel meets, and training trips

Competitive Goals

  • Junior Olympic Champion qualification
